Environmental Consulting Services, Inc. has staff that have specialized in the taxonomy and identification of birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, ichthyoplankton, micro- and macro-zooplankton, benthic invertebrates, and phytoplankton.  The ECSI staff are experienced in the identification of freshwater, estuarine, marine, and terrestrial organisms in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.  The taxonomic staff average over 10 years experience in their areas of expertise and are supported by an extensive library of type specimens, reference papers, and literature.   ECSI maintains a laboratory staffed by efficient lab technicians who follow stringent chain of custody and QA/QC protocols in the processing of samples.

ECSI can provide sampling services with standard sampling gears in most habitats and conditions.
