ECSI is a privately held company founded in 1984, specializing in environmental consulting and management.  Our staff includes biologists and environmental scientists with backgrounds in fisheries, ichthyoplankton, invertebrate taxonomy, engineering, with experience in project design, project management, sample collection, sample processing, and report preparation.  The combination of technical and design expertise provides our clients with the best resources with which to professionally manage their environmental needs.

Our offices and laboratory in Middletown, Delaware, serve the Delmarva Peninsula, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, and the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays.  Our dedication to excellence has attracted a broad base of clientele including public utilities, manufacturing and industrial firms, food processors, academic institutions, land developers, financial institutions, law firms, municipalities, government agencies, and private citizens.

Projects within our scope of services vary from relatively small studies and conceptual designs to complex projects entailing a multi-disciplinary team approach including other environmental scientists, engineers, and attorneys.
